The Vision

God takes great pleasure in healing broken things. It is our Successexperience that, more often than not, He uses the support of one to help heal another.

It is our vision to provide a safe place of healing and hope for kids and families.

At Mercy Trails Ranch, we have seen the effect that a horse has had to communicate with people where others are not allowed.  Therefore, the opportunity for the horse-person relationship is what we wish to create.  Horses have the ability to break down barriers.  Interaction with horses creates an opportunity for open conversation and the weaving in of life and God lessons.  Lessons such as trust, faithfulness, honesty, hard work, and commitment.

Mercy Trails Ranch uses abandoned and rescued horses to provide that relationship.  The abuse and neglect of horses that have been rescued from bad situations provides each horse  a story to share with people, many of them very similar.

In this beautiful section of wide open Western prairie, God speaks to the hearts of those who come.  His gift of healing and hope is freely offered for those who will reach out and take hold.

How have you seen God today?

  1. Wow, what an awesome opportunity! This is great!

  2. Thanks for checking in on my blog, Scott. I asked God to bring those who needed the encouragement to this post.

I am lifting prayers for you this evening, as well. God bless you in this season you are currently in, and bring you into the next season with health, strength, peace, prosperity and joy!

I am touched by your ministry. I work with developementally disababled adults, and have for 21 years now. One bright spot that has made a difference in their lives has been a local ranch ministry called handi-riders. I have seen many clients get exercise they need and joy by being walked on a horse and playing certain “games”.
Thank you for all you do.
